Starter Guide

Welcome to Perfect World Abyss! This guide will show you all the basics to getting started here.
Firstly, all races will spawn in the Spire of Awakening, PWA's starter area.

From here you can head north towards the levelling area (the Fissure), kill mobs on your way to get started. Be sure to open your supply stashes, these will give you all kinds of useful items to get you started.

Go through the two guards and continue killing mobs until you reach the Royal Owls. These mobs are the quickest way to level 100.

Owls will often drop Abyss Coins, the main currency of the server, be sure to pick these up. Once you get to level 100 your inventory should look something like this:

Now you are level 100, before you go level to 150 you will want to prepare for PV. First of all you'll want to equip your 'Levelling Cape' and hp/mp charms this will stop you from dying in PV. Next would be a trip to the mailbox, here you can exchange your Immortal Feather for a limited time custom flyer. Be sure to choose the one that will work for your race. You can find the Mailbox, Cultivation Master, Khoan and Abyss Merchant just past the tree after the Royal Owls. Here on a map:

Next you can choose your cultivation! Talk to the Cultivation Master, left of the Mailbox and you'll be able to exchange your Cultivation Stone (the green gem in your inventory) for Sage or Demon cultivation. You will not be able to change cultivation so choose wisely!!

In order to run PV smoothly and quickly you'll need some skills. (Tip: If you're running low on money exchange some Abyss coins to 10 million big notes at the Abyss Merchant using the 'Manufacture Items' option) The class skill NPCs are just to the left and north of the Mailbox. I suggest maxing your AoE skills first in order to make PV runs faster.

Now you're all ready to enter PV! Just go back to the Mailbox and enter PV (level 100+) through Khoan the Survivor. Summon the mobs using R.O.C when inside. Don't forget to update your stats (using C) as you go through PV, making it easier! If you find your HP getting too low whilst fighting the mobs, use the coco-cola hp pot, which will restore 6k hp instantly.

When you reach the boss you should be in the high level 140s. Killing the boss then AoEing the toads will most likely get you to level 150 and drop many Abyss coins! Now you can go get your demon/sage skills, gear and many other items you may want! Exit PV to West Archosaur. Go towards the gate leading to outside sz and you'll find forges for all classes. Go to your respected forge and choose 'Books'. There you will find all the skill books you need.

Gear is not refinable nor does it have sockets, this is normal.
